I have to be honest, I’ve always dreaded going to a salon. Not that I don’t want to get primped and polished, it’s just that it takes so darn long to go through the process. Now, I’m not referring to a quick cut and blow. Rather, I’m speaking about the process of hair coloring, specifically getting my roots colored with a bit of highlights around the face. So, in covering Le Salon East for a piece I’m doing in the July edition of IN New York, my colorist Nicola Goldberg (their International Artistic Director and Salon Manager) does my hair. MORE |

I found this salon on Lifebooker and decided to book my Brazilian Keratin Treatment. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone made sure I was taken care of and that my cappuccino was re-filled (which is good - considering the treatment does take about 2-3 hours to complete.)
Awesome experience, and I walked out looking like a million bucks. I've had this treatment done before, but wow -- it doesn't get much better than this! I'll be back again soon. :)
